On the border between Tuscany and Umbria. Agriturismo Vista Sole is part of a family-run farm situated on a high, panoramic hill in the green Pierle Valley, about 20 km from Cortona and on the border between the two regions of Tuscany and Umbria. Ideal starting point for excursions to Lake Trasimeno, Perugia and the major art cities in Umbria, and to the cities of Valdichiana in the Arezzo region, such as Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, Lucignano, Monte San Savino. The characteristic villages of Mercatale and Lisciano Niccone, with shops, supermarkets and restaurants, are only 5 km away.
Swimming pool and outdoor areas. Around the old stone farmhouse of peasant origin, a large outdoor area with a view of the church of San Donnino, the woods and olive groves and a swimming pool with Jacuzzi (size 14x5 m, depth 1.50 m) that guests will use exclusively. A large barbecue, ideal for preparing outdoor dinners to be enjoyed on the comfortable front porch of the house. The Azienda Agricola also has a fishing lake, located about 1 km from the house, where you can fish for trout, perch trout and gilthead bream. The owner lives with his family in the house next door and offers guests the necessary privacy, but is a sure reference point for every need.
Furnishing and home facilities. The simple but functional decoration, together with the numerous facilities of the house such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi access, satellite TV, washing machine, dishwasher guarantee a holiday of total relaxation, with the possibility to visit the most famous places of Tuscany in a short time. and Umbria.

FIRST FLOOR: with access via internal staircase, 3 bedrooms and bathroom with bath.

On the bright hills covered with green forests is the charming castle of Pierle. An ancient castle of feudal origin, Pierle was built in the 13th century to protect Cortona from attacks from nearby Perugia.

I really loved this property. Pool area was well furnished and maintained daily throughout the stay. bedrooms were very comfortable. The owner was very kind and generous. they even offered fresh veggies from the garden. I really appreciated their behavior. Some trails nearby were very beautiful.
